Use Recommendations
Mortar used as masonry setting
- It can be used with ceramic or concrete blocks,
siliceous limestone and standard bricks.
- The blocks/bricks must be dry at setting time.
- Maximum thickness recommended for joint: 3
cm.
- Minimum thickness recommended for joint: check
the back of the packaging.
- The masonry blocks setting can be done using
conventional or measurable (squirt bottle/channel)
methods.
Mortar is applied as a coating
- Define thickness from the critical base points.
- Thickness with single coat: up to 3 cm.
- Greater thickness: make 3 cm. coats. Plate
the first coat undoing the
shells. After the first coat, wait for the setting
time to take place and then apply the second
coat.
- For thickness exceeding 6 cm it is necessary
to place a galvanized canvas.
Finish
- Substrate for ceramics/stones: level and trowel
gently, with a wood float.
- Substrate for painting: level and spread with
a wood float, followed by felt.
- For a better finish we recommend the use of
a plastic finish trowel.
Curing time of coating must occur before
applying finish application
- Substrate for ceramic or similar coatings:
14 days.
- Substrate for painting or waterproofing: 28
days.
